“You know I never thought I’d say this, but Mark Carney is actually worse than Justin Trudeau. Let me just look at the numbers. His deficit is on track to be twice as big as Justin Trudeau’s, Mr.Carney’s spending is up eight per cent above Justin Trudeau’s.”
We asked him about the homelessness issue plaguing the country, including the current State of Emergency in Belleville.
“First let’s start with the economic side. We’ve got to stop taxing home building. Take all taxes off home building, incentivize local governments to speed up permits to build homes that everyone can afford.”
On the drugs side, he did not pull any punches either.
“Well let’s give life sentences to fentanyl dealers, get them off the streets. Secure our borders with scanners, 1,000 more guards, and watchtowers to keep the fentanyl out. Instead of giving out tax-funded drugs, we should put people into treatment and recovery. I will pass a law that will allow police to arrest people who are addicts, who cannot control themselves anymore. Arrest them and take them into mandatory treatment.”
We asked him about the issue that people are not talking about.
“Lowered expectations. People are saying oh well, I guess that we just have to live with $1-million housing prices that no one can afford. Oh well, I guess I just have to downgrade my diet, eat processed junk because I can’t afford the meat and potatoes that I used to be able to buy ten years ago. You don’t have to live like this.”
