Although an exact count isn’t possible in a large and busy waterfront park, it seems Quinte West Pop-up shops were much busier over the summer than they have been in past years.
Conservative estimates put the number of visitors to the pop-ups in Centennial Park at over 13,000, up from 8,000 last summer.
Not surprisingly, Saturdays were the busiest days and often featured live entertainment.
Since 2021, Quinte West Pop-ups has grown to include eight sheds for food and merchandise vendors. Three other sites for food trucks are also offered.
