Trustees with the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board passed a new five-year strategic plan on Tuesday.
The 2025-2030 Multi-Year Strategic Plan (MYSP) outlines the board’s goals and aspirations for the next five years under four key priorities: faith, equity and well-being, formation and achievement, and stewardship of resources.

The plan has been in the works for several months with the MYSP Steering Committee hosting four dedicated consultation days in the spring to gather feedback and engage with a diverse range of voices from across its Catholic school communities including students, school staff, board office staff, families, parish priests, and community partners.
“Reflecting on the collaborative efforts that have shaped our strategic plan, I am proud of the dedication and passion demonstrated by our students, staff, and community partners,” said David DeSantis, Director of Education. “Their voices have been instrumental in creating our goals and aspirations as we continue to provide excellence in Catholic education.”
