A man has been sentenced to jail time after an assault in Picton early last July.
Recently, 39-year-old Stephen Beaudrie of Picton was sentenced to eight months in jail and probation on charges of assault with a weapon, mischief, uttering death threats and assaulting a peace officer.
On the afternoon of July 3, OPP responded after someone had been assaulted and property damaged.
Beaudrie fought with police and the Emergency Response Team was called in to assist with the arrest.
