The City of Belleville is currently undertaking an update to the West Belleville Secondary Plan and is looking for feedback.
A public Consultation Centre will be held on October 1 offering a look at the draft document.
The West Belleville Secondary Plan area encompasses approximately 950 hectares of land located east of Wallbridge-Loyalist Road, south of Highway 401 and north of the Bay of Quinte.
The plan will guide future growth and development in the area, including over 6,000 new residential units, enhanced public infrastructure and a balanced mix of commercial, employment, institutional, and recreational spaces.
The Public Consultation Centre will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Link Lounge at Loyalist College.
There will be no formal presentations, so those interested can attend at their convenience.
Project staff will be on hand to provide information and answer questions.
