The Trenton Golden Hawks defeated the Haliburton Huskies 6-1 on Friday.
Taeo Artichuk, Jack Ziliotto, and Jamie Darlison scored for the Golden Hawks.
The first period saw the Golden Hawks take three goals, building a strong lead, while keeping the Huskies off the scoreboard. During the second, the Golden Hawks took another goal before the Huskies claimed their one and only for the night. In the third, the Golden Hawks scored two more goals, extending their lead and taking the game.
The Golden Hawks are on the road on Sunday, travelling to face the Markham Royals.
