An investigation by Cobourg police has resulted in the arrest of a 39-year-old man on sexual assault charges.
On Saturday, September 13, the Cobourg Police Service Criminal Investigations Bureau began an investigation into allegations of sexual offences.
As a result, a Cobourg man was arrested and is facing the following charges:
• Sexual Assault
• Sexual Interference
• Invitation to Sexual Touching
• Make Sexually Explicit Material available to a person under 14 years of age
The accused was held for a bail hearing.
The name of the accused is not being released to protect the identity of the victim.
