The Belleville Police Service is exploring the use of an armoured vehicle and has released a community survey seeking feedback.
In a post to Facebook, the Belleville Police Service says other municipal police services in Ontario have begun using the ‘BlackWolf’ armoured vehicle.
According to police, the vehicle is designed with a focus on agility and protection that will allow officers to safely navigate and manage challenging situations.
The survey is being released so that police better understand what matters most to the community.
