The Bay of Quinte high school football season officially kicks off this Thursday, September 18, as Eastside Secondary hosts Centennial Secondary.
The Senior game begins at 1:00 p.m., followed by the Junior match-up at 3:00 p.m. at Eastside Field.
New this year, fans can look forward to Friday Night Lights action under the stadium lights at Mary Ann Sills Turf Field, offering a new game-day experience for athletes and fans alike.
The community is encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Gleaners Food Bank.
“High school football in the Bay of Quinte has a proud tradition, and we’re excited to launch another season,” said Scott Symons Football Convenor. “The addition of Friday Night Lights games brings a new energy and gives players, families, and fans a chance to come together as a community.”
