Quinte West firefighters were dealing with a smoky blaze behind a small plaza on Old Highway 2 in Bayside Wednesday morning.
Just after 5 a.m., crews responded to a fenced-in compound behind the plaza where a parked semi-stake truck and a camper trailer were up in flames.
Residents in the area had reported hearing explosions.
OPP were called in and paramedics were called to the site on standby, however, there were no injuries.
The flames were extinguished shortly after 5:30 a.m.
Quinte West Fire Chief John Whelan tells Quinte News that the fire is not suspicious with crews suspecting it may be electrical.
