For the first time in the organization’s history, 100 Men Who Care Quinte have chosen two charities to donate to.
At its 43rd meeting at The Belleville Club Monday night, the result of the vote was a tie between two charities.
The group then followed its policy of dropping the charity with the least votes and voted again with only the two tied charities as options.
The results of the second vote came back tied once again.
Because of this, the group decided to go forward with selecting both charities to donate to.
- The Enrichment Centre for Mental Health
- The Children’s Safety Village
To date, 100 Men Who Care Quinte has raised $347,750 to charities in the region.
The next meeting of the group is scheduled for Monday, November 24 once again at The Belleville Club.
More information about the group can be found at their website.
