Glanmore National Historic Site is hosting a special exhibit and fun-filled, family-friendly Halloween event next month.
Glanmore’s Creepy Curiosities exhibit features unusual artifacts throughout the restored rooms of Glanmore National Historic Site.
See a wicker body basket, whimsical woodcarvings, a mythical mermaid, and other odd and downright peculiar artifacts from Glanmore’s collections.
The Creepy Curiosities exhibit is included with regular museum admission and runs from Wednesday, Oct. 1 until Sunday, Nov. 2.
Glanmore’s Family Night at the B00-seum event takes place on the evening of Friday, Oct. 24.
New to this year’s event is a sensory-friendly hour, with smaller crowds and reduced noise and lighting from 4 to 5 p.m.
The main event with timed entry admissions will then take place between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m.
Don your Halloween costumes and join in an evening at Glanmore filled with family-friendly Halloween fun (no inflatable costumes or prop projectiles/weapons).
Families can watch spooky silent films, make a ghostly or jack-o-lantern themed craft and enjoy indoor trick-or-treating.
The Creepy Curiosities exhibit will be open and check out weird and wonderful activities in the Creepy Kitchen.
Tickets for the all-ages event are $12.25 for adults, $10.25 for seniors and youth, $8 for children ages 5-12, and children under 5 are FREE.
Advance tickets are required and can be purchased online at www.glanmore.ca.
