One additional person has been charged in the 2024 theft of liquor on Toronto Street in Colbourne.
Approximately $865 worth of liquor was stolen from a business back in October 2024.
On September 11, 2025, Akilan Anton of Scarborough and Aymen Moktar of Toronto, both 20 years old, were charged with theft under $5,000 – shoplifting.
The next day, Northumberland OPP brought a third individual into custody.
20-year-old Ashvin Balakugan of Toronto was charged with Theft Under $5,000 – Shoplifting.
All three accused are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in October.
