On Sunday, June 2, 2024 at approximately 12 a.m., members of East Division responded to a shooting in the area of Concession St E and Mearns Ave in Bowmanville.
Officers arrived on scene and located a 25-year-old male, a 25-year-old female and a 22-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds.
All injuries were non-life threatening.
Investigators have arrested three suspects.
Rocco Trentadue, age 23, of Clarington is charged with discharge firearm with intent to wound, possess loaded regulated firearm, and possess restricted or prohibited firearm knowingly not holding a licence or registration certificate.
Jarrett Barbara, age 22, of Oshawa is charged with possess loaded regulated firearm, and possess restricted or prohibited firearm knowingly not holding a licence or registration certificate.
Dylan Heinola, age 23, of Clarington is charged with discharge firearm with intent to wound, possess loaded regulated firearm, possess restricted or prohibited firearm knowingly not holding a licence or registration certificate, and possess Schedule I Substance for the purpose of trafficking.
They were held for a bail hearing.
