Belleville police arrested one person for causing a disturbance after receiving multiple reports of a man yelling at children.
Officers responded to the west end Saturday evening where it was reported the suspect had been yelling at children all day.
Upon arrival, officers located a male sitting in the tree line where he continued to shout.
Further investigation revealed the male was in breach of a probation order for failing to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
Thirty-one-year-old Shelby Roddick is charged with causing a disturbance and failure to comply with a probation order.
He was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in October.
