Northumberland OPP have laid charges in connection with large liquor theft in Colborne last year.
On October 6, 2024, approximately $865 worth of liquor was stolen from a commercial premises on Toronto Street.
Following an almost 11-month long investigation, police identified two suspects.
On Wednesday, both individuals were arrested.
Akilan Anton of Scarborough and Aymen Moktar of Toronto, both 20 years old, are charged with theft under $5,000 – shoplifting
Both accused are due to appear in a Cobourg court in October.
