The number of homeless people in Hastings County decreased in the last quarter of this year, but just by a little.
In its so-called Built for Zero Report Card, the county says 275 people were homeless in the months April through June with 164 of those listed as being chronically homeless.
That total number is just under six per cent lower than in the previous quarter.
The report card shows that 38 people managed to find a place to live in the last quarter, however, 17 people who were previously housed returned to homelessness.
