The fall Work in Quinte Career Fair is coming up Wednesday, Oct. 15, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre.
The cities of Belleville and Quinte West are co-hosting the free event which will bring together more than 45 employers from across the Bay of Quinte region, offering full-time and part-time positions in a variety of sectors.
Attendees can learn about local career opportunities, connect directly with recruiters, and explore potential career changes all in one place.
All attendees will be required to register before entry, so job seekers are encouraged to save time in the check-in line by pre-registering, and to arrive interview-ready with resumes uploaded to their workinquinte.ca Job Seeker profile, or in hand to make the most of this valuable networking opportunity.
To assist with preparation for the career fair, Work In Quinte has introduced a new workshop series called Road to the Career Fair, delivered by Meta Employment Services.
Through this program you can hone your resume, get prepped for interviews and learn some tips about career fairs and networking.

“This event is more than a job fair; it’s a strategic platform for forging powerful connections. By bringing together business leaders, agencies, and the local workforce, we are creating a collaborative environment designed to foster mutual growth and effectively address current market needs,” says Luisa Sorrentino, Economic Development Officer for the City of Quinte West.
“The Work in Quinte Career Fair is your opportunity to explore, connect and secure your future right here at home. This year’s addition of the Road to the Career Fair workshops will provide job seekers with the tools they need to succeed in their job search and employment journey. Whether you’re just starting out, seeking a change or returning to the workforce, don’t miss this chance to take the next step toward a fulfilling career in our region,” says Victoria Watts, Business Growth and Retention Specialist for the City of Belleville.
The Work in Quinte website is a free, one-stop hub for job opportunities across the Bay of Quinte region. Job seekers can explore current postings and upload their resumes to the searchable database, while employers can easily share openings to be promoted through the platform and use the free Applicant Tracking System to score, track, and communicate with applicants all from their Employer Dashboard.
