Belleville’s Economic Development Manager was recognized by Mayor Neil Ellis at council’s meeting Monday.
Elisha Maguire was one of 40 people selected in the Bay of Quinte Regional 40 Under 40 contest.
Ellis told council Maguire and her team’s economic development work is being noticed by many in the region.
“For building, mentoring, hiring, creating and lifting others as they go. They represented the energy, generosity, and grit that pushes the Quinte area forward.”
Over 200 nominations were submitted.
