Belleville police and the Ontario Fire Marshal are investigating after a weekend fire on John Street, the second at the same address in just over two months.
Firefighters responded to 88 John Street on Saturday and, upon arrival, found a small fire had been extinguished by neighbours.
The building was damaged by a previous fire and was not occupied.
The empty residence was one of three homes damaged by fire on Canada Day.
That fire is also under investigation.
