A brand-new music festival makes its debut in Downtown Belleville this weekend.
The Beautiful View Music Festival celebrates indie songwriting and community spirit.
The event starts at 3 p.m. Saturday, September 13 with free daytime performances across multiple venues.
Afternoon performances are free and open to all, with mobile passes required for entry.
Performers include Cedric Noel, Justin Rutledge, Burs, Boyhood, Fraser, May Shukla and Julia Finnegan in venues such as UpFront Café, The Belleville Club, The Kafana and Evolve Wellness Studio.
The festival culminates in a special ticketed evening show at Capers Restaurant with Julie Doiron, Hayden, and Bells Larsen.
The Beautiful View Music Festival is co-founded by artists Hannah Georgas and Ten Kills the Pack (Sean Sroka).
“It has been a dream to create a music event that includes a diverse lineup of artists that I have made personal connections with throughout my career in music,” said co-founder Hannah Georgas. “I’m excited to put together a lineup of artists that I love and other music fans like myself will enjoy.”
