The OJHL is back for another season in the Quinte region.
The Trenton Golden Hawks and the Wellington Dukes start their respective seasons by renewing their Battle of Quinte Sunday afternoon at Lehigh Arena in Wellington.
Trenton is looking to defend the Buckland Cup championship they won last season, beating the Milton Menace in six games.
Meanwhile, the Dukes head into the season with a familiar face in a new position.
Jacob Panetta has taken over as head coach & general manager role in Wellington for the 2025-26 season.
He played nearly 160 regular-season and playoff games for the Dukes between 2013 and 2016, where he amassed 84 points.
His hockey career took him to Colgate (NCAA), Jacksonville (ECHL), and last season to Denmark.
Puck drop is at 2:30 p.m.
