Construction activity in Belleville continues to be well ahead of 2024.
The city issued 59 permits with a construction value of $14.5 million in August.
In August 2024 there were 56 permits worth $9.9 million granted.
There were eight permits for new residential construction last month.
Year-to-date dollar value of construction activity is $127.1 million.
It was just $74.1 million through the end of August 2024.
