The drought-like conditions continued in the Quinte region in August.
According to Environment Canada and readings taken at CFB Trenton, the area
received just over 50 millimetres of rain last month.
The usual amount for an August is 72 mm.
It was the third consecutive month of well below normal rainfall in the area.
Meanwhile, the average high temperature of 26 degrees Celsius and average low of
14 degrees were very close to historical norms.
