A building in the north-east industrial park in Belleville had a fire on Thursday morning.
Around 9:15 a.m., Belleville fire, police, and Hastings-Quinte EMS responded to University Avenue, where smoke and flames were coming from a large oven.

The flames spread into the building’s roof.
Deputy Chief Mark Shannon says crews worked efficiently to knock down the flames and work on hot spots.
No injuries were reported and no damage estimates are available at this time.
Fire prevention members were also called.
