A woman is facing charges after a break and enter incident in Belleville’s east end.
On Friday, Belleville police responded to a break and enter in progress at 7:30 p.m.
Police arrived to find a woman being removed from a residence. The occupants told officers they had returned home and found the woman inside their apartment. After removing her from the unit, the occupants discovered some personal belongings were missing.
After the woman was removed, she also pulled the fire alarm.
As a result, 43-year-old Tamara Denstedt of no fixed address was arrested and charged with break and enter, theft under $5000, false alarm of fire, and failure to comply with a probation order.
She was held for a bail hearing.
