Belleville police responded to 106 calls for service over a 24-hour period from 5 a.m. on August 21, 2025 to 5 a.m. on August 22, 2025.
Warrants
On August 21, 2025 at approximately 8:10 p.m., Belleville police on general patrol observed a male and a female walking together, both of whom were known to be wanted on outstanding warrants by the Belleville Police Service. Officers approached and arrested a 28-year-old Belleville man, and a 31-year-old Belleville woman on the strength of the warrants.
Upon further investigation, officers learned that the female was also wanted on warrants by Kingston Police Service, L&A OPP and Quinte West OPP, and was breaching the conditions of a previous undertaking by communicating with the male party. As a result, the 31-year-old female was charged with failure to comply with an undertaking. She was held for a bail hearing.
