Breach of Probation
On August 20, 2025 at 9:32 a.m., Belleville police attended an apartment complex in the city’s east end regarding a report of a disturbance. It was reported that a male was breaching his probation order by residing in the building and communicating with a female resident. As a result of investigation, a 47-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with three counts of failure to comply with a probation order. He was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in September.
Assault
On August 20, 2025 at 9:36 p.m., Belleville police attended an address in the city’s west end regarding a report of a domestic dispute. Police attended and spoke to both parties involved. It was reported that a female party was assaulted after a verbal altercation. As a result of the investigation, a 24-year-old Belleville woman was arrested and charged with two counts of assault. She was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in October.
