Peterborough County OPP are investigating the theft of a truck, trailer, and two Kubotas from a commercial property in Douro-Dummer Township.
On Thursday, August 14, a Peterborough County OPP officer was dispatched to a report of equipment that had been stolen from a property on County Road 4. The complainant advised that they received a call stating that one of their loaders was found parked in the middle of Douro 8th Line and their white, company pickup truck was located a short distance away.
Upon arrival at the property, it was also noted that a trailer and a mini excavator were missing and had not been located. The theft appears to have taken place in the early morning of August 14.
The trailer, a black J&J Model LD2 flatbed and the orange Kubota model KX40 remain outstanding.
Investigators are actively looking for information that may lead to the recovery of the property and the identification of the suspect(s) involved in this theft.
