Kawartha Lakes police say a 44-year-old man is facing charges after he allegedly assaulted an intruder inside his home in Lindsay, early Monday morning.
Police say the apartment resident woke up to find a 41-year-old man in his apartment shortly after 3 a.m. and an
ensuing altercation inside the apartment left the intruder with life-threatening injuries.
The intruder was also charged with four offences including possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and break and enter.
