The City of Quinte West is accepting applications for the fall intake of its revised 2025 Community Improvement Plan (CIP) program.
The program offers funding to help local businesses enhance and revitalize their properties.
It provides up to 50 per cent in matching funding for eligible projects such as building and property renovations, signage upgrades, façade improvements, and upper-storey conversions.
Local tourism operators are also eligible to apply for funding to support enhancements to their tourism offerings.
Council approved $200,000 in CIP funding to support Quinte West businesses through the spring and fall intake periods.
Eligible businesses can apply during the fall intake, which runs until September 29, 2025.
“The city is committed to supporting local business development and economic growth,” says Linda Lisle, manager of Economic Development and Tourism Services, in a release.
“This funding empowers business owners to invest in their properties, boost curb appeal, and contribute to a vibrant and thriving community.”
Interested business owners can visit the City of Quinte West’s website for more information on the program.
