Warrant Officer First Class Margaret Hood is one of the instructing graduating cadets.
She says that she developed a range of skills through her time in the program.
“Within my time as a cadet, I was able to drastically develop my leadership skills, and step out of my comfort zone more than had I done anything else,” said Hood.

There is no training required to enter any of the cadet programs, with the only requirement being above the minimum age of 12 years old.
“We are able to develop so many skills and be able to pass those on to people, like the younger cadets and other people our age, because not everyone gets the same experiences.”
