Both drivers involved in a two-vehicle collision Wednesday afternoon in Northumberland County have been charged.
OPP, fire and EMS responded to the collision on County Road 2 in Alnwick Haldimand around 4:45 p.m.
One driver was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A 30-year-old male from Cobourg was charged with driving with a hand-held communication device while a 61-year-old Colborne woman was charged with careless driving.
Northumberland OPP remind all drivers to stay focused, avoid distractions, and drive responsibly.
County Road 2 was briefly closed for vehicle removal.
