Charges against the 41-year-old Ferrill include possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, psilocybin and LSD, as well as possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000.
Longtooth Beverage Company held a licence to brew beer, as well as endorsements allowing it to operate a retail store and to sell and serve beer on-site at its West Front Street location.
Ferrill was one of three people charged after OPP executed search warrants at residences on Whites Road in Quinte West and West Front Street in Stirling, as well as a business on West Front Street in Stirling and associated vehicles on July 30.
Officers seized over 92 grams of suspected cocaine, nearly 270 grams of suspected psilocybin power, and a quantity of suspected LSD and psilocybin pills.
They also seized nearly $10,000 in cash and items typically associated with drug trafficking.
Ferrill is charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000.
Dr. Karin Schnarr, Chief Executive Officer and Registrar, AGCO says “The AGCO’s top priority is to protect the public interest and ensure that all regulated sectors operate with honesty and integrity. Illicit drug trafficking directly undermines public safety and the AGCO will continue to work with our partners in law enforcement to combat criminal activity wherever it is identified.”
