Hastings County is looking at continuing a student placement program with Loyalist College.
During Wednesday’s Hastings County Emergency Services Committee meeting, the committee discussed renewing an agreement that places Loyalist College students with Hastings-Quinte Paramedic Services as part of their course.
The agreement was previously active for a five-year term and it was recommended to continue it for another five years.
The committee voted to recommend that council authorize renewing the agreement and sent the matter to council for final approval.
