Detectives with the Peterborough Police Investigative Services Unit have laid a charge in connection with a suspicious death investigation.
On Tuesday, Peterborough police reported they were assisting the Coroner’s Office with a suspicious death investigation at a Peterborough residence in the area of Charlotte Street and Rubidge Street.
One person is in custody and police say they are not looking for any other suspects.
There are no further details being released at this time.
A 40-year-old Peterborough man has been charged with indignity to dead body.
The accused is being held in custody and will appear in court Wednesday.
