The Helicopter Golf Ball Drop took place around 12:20 p.m. today during the John Smylie Memorial Golf Classic at Oak Hills Golf Club in Stirling.
Out of 2,000 numbered golf balls, ball #1069 landed just 23 cm from the centre of the target, winning the $5,000 prize. Tickets were completely sold out by August 7.
The drop was sponsored by Team Guernsey Real Estate and 1000 Islands Helicopter Tours, with proceeds supporting Trenton Memorial Hospital’s Emerge Stronger campaign.
