The last of six people charged in a home invasion and kidnapping on Tyendinaga Territory was sentenced recently.
Jordan Brant, 34 at the time of his arrest early last year, was given an 18-month conditional sentence, a 10-year weapons prohibition and 12 months probation.
Brant had served 91 days of pre-sentence custody.
The incident involved a break-in at a house in late January 2024. A man was assaulted and held against his will in a vehicle before being released.
