Two men drowned in a lake near Burleigh Falls north of Peterborough Sunday.
Peterborough County OPP say people were swimming in Stony Lake late in the afternoon when a man appeared in distress and went missing.
A second man tried to help and also went missing.
The OPP’s Underwater Search and Recovery Unit recovered the bodies of a 24-year-old from Caledon and a 26-year-old from Brampton on Monday.
