As part of the Cobourg Police Service’s ongoing commitment to enhancing community safety, the police service has shared its two-week update on the Safer Street Cobourg program.
The initiative, launched on June 16, aims to foster a more secure and welcoming environment for all residents and visitors.
From July 14 to July 27, CPS responded to 868 calls for service.
During this time, police conducted 48 foot patrols and 26 property checks.
Officers responded to 33 trespass-related calls and made 13 warrants and bail compliance arrests.
In addition, there were two drug-related arrests for possession and one Liquor Licence Control Act charge issued.
