Belleville Transit is preparing to have new accessible bus stops installed around the city.
Installation is set to begin on Tuesday, August 5, and will take place at the following stops:
- 433, 405, 355 and 287 Dundas St. West
- Ponton Park
- 160 Palmer Rd.
- 146 and 161 Bridge St. West
- 450 and 514 Sidney St.
- 39 Cedar St.
- 79, 121, 208, 562 and 569 Bridge St. East
- 121 North Front St.
- 164 Herchimer Ave.
- 64 Plaza Sq.
- 249, 433 and 272 Victoria Ave.
- 24 Briarwood Cres.
- 51 Hickory Grove
- 361 Farley Ave.
- 40 Bettes St.
- 131, 199 and 265 Cannifton Rd.
- 28 McFarland Dr.
- 131 Centre St.
During construction, each stop will be temporarily out of service until the concrete pad has cured and the landscape is restored.
Belleville Transit requests riders proceed to the next closest bus stop during construction of the pads.
