We now know the location of the first-ever Hindu Temple in Belleville’s history.
Quinte News has learned that 116 Pinnacle Street Belleville has been purchased by the BAPS Swaminarayan faith.
The sale closed on Thursday.
A renovation of the building will start this month and we are told the goal is for the temple to open before the end of 2025.
Opening celebrations for the new temple will attract hundreds of BAPS worshippers, other Hindus, and the entire Quinte region. Officials says everyone will be welcome.
