The Belleville Caribbean Festival is returning for a fourth year.
Taking place from August 15 to 17, the festival will include events across downtown Belleville as well as a parade.
The festivities begin with “Fête en Blanc” at Victoria Park on the 15th, from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. This will be a ticketed event presented by the Toronto Carnival and will include live music and DJs.
On the 16th, the festivities will move into downtown Belleville streets, starting at 11 a.m., and featuring live music throughout downtown. Along with the music, festival events will take over Front Sstreet between Bridge Street and Victoria Avenue, and will include face painting, an obstacle course, limbo contest, balloon art, and more.
A parade is also set for the 16th, departing West Zwick’s Park at 1 p.m. and heading into the downtown.
For the final day on the 17th, festivities move to West Zwick’s Park with a Caribbean brunch and gospel hour, along with live music and food, and Pop-ups on the Bay vendors.
