Hospice Quinte has announced an expansion planned for the Stan Klemencic Care Centre.
The new expansion will include four additional hospice palliative care beds, along with a family sunroom, a family washroom with a shower, on-site laundry facilities, and additional storage.
The facility currently supports six beds, with the expansion raising the capacity to a total of 10.
“We are very excited to announce this expansion,” said Hospice Quinte Executive Director Petra Lepage. “The additional beds will allow us to provide excellent end-of-life care to even more people in the Quinte region.”
Under their current planned schedule, shovels will be in the ground in spring 2026, with completion expected in spring 2027.
