Quinte Health is experiencing a Code Grey resulting in technical issues that is causing delays and cancellations.
Their computer system is expected to be down until later this afternoon or early evening due to a hard drive failure, forcing officials to revert to paper-based procedures at all four hospitals.
Some non-emergency procedures including outpatient diagnostic imaging and elective surgeries are being cancelled today.
Quinte Health is making every effort to contact impacted patients directly.
If you do not hear from their team, you are asked to arrive for your procedure as scheduled.
Other services, including emergency departments, will be slower than usual.
