Peterborough County OPP have charged an individual after being called to a residence related to intimate partner violence.
Monday, just prior to 2 p.m., Peterborough County OPP officers were dispatched to a report of an assault that had taken place at a residence in Peterborough County. The caller advised that their grandchild had contacted them and advised that their parents had been in a fight. Officers attended and after speaking with all the parties involved, an arrest was made.
A 43-year-old male was arrested and charged with assault.
The accused was held for bail to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough.
