The Children’s Safety Village of Belleville announces the upcoming launch of its capital campaign this September, supporting the relocation of the Village to Clifford “Sonny” Belch Park, located at 69 Centre Street in Belleville ON.
This transformative move will make the Safety Village more accessible and centrally located, allowing the organization to reach more families, schools, and communities across the Quinte region. The new site will support enhanced programming, accessibility upgrades, and sensory-friendly features—empowering even more children with the tools they need to prevent injury and reduce risk in everyday life.
“This campaign is about building a space where every child—no matter their ability, background, or circumstance—has the opportunity to learn life-saving safety skills in a supportive and engaging environment,” says Rachelle Baldock, Executive Director of the Children’s Safety Village. “Our goal is to empower children to grow up confident, capable, and safe.”
The Children’s Safety Village currently serves thousands of children each year through interactive programs focused on fire safety, street safety, cyber awareness, and more. With the support of donors, community members, and local businesses, the new location will allow for increased capacity, new partnerships, and a reimagined learning experience for generations to come.
The capital campaign officially launches this September.
