Northumberland OPP say a piece of sports equipment was used in an assault that has resulted in a charge against a teenager.
Police and paramedics responded to a reported altercation on William Street in Colborne on June 19.
Only the victim was still at the scene.
They suffered non-serious injuries.
Investigation revealed a piece of sports equipment was used as a weapon during the incident and police obtained a warrant for the arrest of a 15-year-old.
On Thursday, the accused, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon.
