Lennox and Addington County OPP executed an arrest warrant in Stone Mills Township, leading to a wanted man facing charges.
The warrant was executed at a home on County Road 6.
The Ontario Provincial Police East Region Community Street Crime Unit, officers from the Emergency Response Team along with officers from the Lennox and Addington County OPP Detachment assisted.
Officers were able to locate the wanted male who was taken into custody.
Thirty-four-year-old Jordan Rombough of Stone Mills Township was charged as a result of several incidents with the following:
- Assault a peace officer with a weapon
- Flight from peace officer
- Dangerous operation – two counts
- Operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code – five counts
- Failure to comply with release order – seven counts
- Failure to comply with probation order – three counts
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
- Trafficking in property obtained by crime
- Fraud under $5000
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice.
