Three people have been sent to the hospital after a car crash on Highway 62.
On Wednesday, first responders including Prince Edward County OPP, attended the scene of an accident just south of Rossmore, where a stopped vehicle was struck from behind by another vehicle.
The occupants of both vehicles were taken to the hospital by paramedics with non-life-threatening injuries.
A 41-year-old woman from Bloomfield has been charged with:
- Careless driving
- Driving a vehicle with no current permit
- Driving a vehicle with no licence
- Failing to have an insurance card
Highway 62 reopened after the vehicles were towed from the scene.
